Sony Pictures Animation (2009) - The Witch

2009 - I worked for Sony Pictures Animation, I was still in Brittany in those days. The project is actually cancelled and Sony allowed me to show the concepts. Sony Pictures Animation (c) 2009 - All right reserved

Here is the Witch. A very tricky character because it was supposed be 2 entities and 2 opposite personalities, Good and Evil of course. I like this dual person and I had great fun to create her/them with things from the Nature.

There were a lot of questions though about this character. Do we have to make them like siamese or separate, more humans, how the bad entity had to shown ? I like the tree witch version.

As the project is cancelled we'll never know how she/them will be.
